Back to School... and a Well-Deserved Break for Parents! 🎒☕ |
||
|
After six long weeks of hearing "I'm bored", discovering mysterious empty snack wrappers around the house, acting as a full-time taxi service, referee, chef, entertainer, and somehow still managing to go to work... you've made it! 🎉👏
As children return to school this week, we would like to take a moment to recognise the real heroes of the summer holidays... the parents and carers! 🏆
With schools now reopening, we can expect to see larger groups of young people gathering in local shops and around bus and tram stops, particularly at Altrincham Interchange.
Parents and carers, please take a few moments to remind your children to: ✅ Be respectful to others
Let's work together to ensure the new school year starts positively and that our town remains a welcoming place for everyone.
Your neighbourhood officers will be out and about during school travel times and after-school periods, engaging with young people, offering reassurance to the community, and addressing any anti-social behaviour. Where necessary, we will take appropriate action, including the use of Anti-Social Behaviour warnings and other available powers.
However, we would much rather be having positive conversations than completing paperwork, so let's all play our part in making this a successful start to the academic year. 😊
Good luck to all students returning to school, and to the parents and carers who can finally enjoy a hot cup of tea before it goes cold! ☕😂 | ||
